Partial lane closure remains hours after tractor-trailer rollover on I-99

PennDOT officials say a partial lane closure remains in place following Friday morning's tractor-trailer rollover crash on Interstate 99 in Taylor Township, Centre County.
Authorities say one of the northbound lanes was reopened after 1 p.m., however, the other lane is not expected to be reopened until 6 p.m.
Officials say the crash occurred just after 7 a.m. between exit 52 (Bald Eagle-Philipsburg) and exit 61 (Port Matilda-Philipsburg).
State police are investigating the crash.

PennDOT has released more details on Friday morning's rollover crash.
Officials say the I-99 northbound lanes between exit 52, (Bald Eagle-Philipsburg) and exit 61 (Port Matilda-Philipsburg) were closed. That closure is expected to last until 1 p.m. Friday.
Traffic is directed off I-99 at exit 52 and will follow old Route 220 and reconnect with the interstate at Port Matilda.

Multiple emergency crews responded to a tractor trailer rollover crash in Taylor Township, Centre County early Friday morning.
Centre County dispatch tells 6 News the initial report came in at 7:15 AM and that PSP Rockview is investigating.
PSP tells Channel 6 the rollover accident occurred on I-99 near mile marker 58.2 - the northbound lanes are shutdown at this time.
PSP also says a male was trapped in the cab of the truck following the rollover, but has since been rescued.
