The Meadows opens new frozen custard franchise in Australia
ALTOONA – The Meadows Original Frozen Custard said in a news release Wednesday that it has opened a new franchise in Canberra, ACT, Australia.
It is the first international location the franchise has opened.
“We were overwhelmed with positive comments and a warm reception to the brand’s first international location,” said Steven Gardner, President and CEO of The Meadows Franchise Systems, Inc.
“We couldn’t be happier to have a presence in Canberra.”
The Meadows Original Frozen Custard was founded in 1950 in Duncansville by the Meadows family.
The chain now has nearly 30 franchises throughout Pennsylvania and the Johnstown region, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and now Australia.
