Philly homicide suspect arrested in Johnstown

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — A man wanted on homicide charges in Philadelphia was captured in Johnstown on Wednesday morning.

Authorities say Jharon Dockery is accused of shooting and killing another man in the city of Philadelphia.

According to officials with the U.S. Marshals Service, Dockery was taken into custody outside a residence along Cypress Ave. in Johnstown.

Johnstown police and the Cambria County SERT assisted with the arrest.

Officials say Dockery was booked into the Cambria County Prison and is awaiting extradition to Philadelphia.
