A Pennsylvania catholic priest is accused of stealing $40,000 from a Chester County parish and using that money to play games on his cell phone.

Police say Lawrence Kozak has been charged with theft and other related crimes.

Authorities say he reportedly racked up tens of thousands of dollars in expenses over three years and used some of that cash to play cell phone games like Candy Crush Saga and Pokémon Go.

The archdiocese issued a statement saying Kozak was placed on administrative leave from Saint Thomas More Church after a review of the parish's financial activity in 2022.

He was then turned into law enforcement.
