Officials announce season opening dates for Seven Springs Ski Resort

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Officials with Seven Springs Mountain Resort announced that they will be opening this coming weekend for ski and snowboarding operations.

Staff says the resort will be opened Friday, Dec. 15 through the 17th.

Seven Springs will then be closed next week, Monday through Thursday, with plans to re-open on Friday, Dec. 22.

Opening Weekend Hours of Operation:

• Friday: 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

Officials have documented on social media that the resort staff has been busy making snow, for the past several weeks.

The season opening has been delayed due to the lack of snow and the recent warmer temperatures.
