JOHNSTOWN - A New Jersey man accused of stabbing another man in Solomon Homes earlier this month has been arrested.

Police said George Jackson, 28, of Jersey City was arrested Saturday night at Solomon Homes after they responded there on an unrelated call.

He is charged with aggravated assault and robbery and is in jail on $250,000 bond.

Police issued a warrant for Jackson's arrest on May 6, two days after they said he stabbed Stephen Jones twice and stole his cell phone in building 12 at Solomon Homes.

Jones was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with a punctured lung.
