Talk with the villagers about the problem at the arena.
Go to the village of Hov on Spikeroog and speak to the two warriors in the wooden sentry tower overlooking the ocean. It appears that a wraith haunts the arena. Offer them your help. The gates to the arena are next to the battlements. Enter the arena and speak to the wraith, called Ulle the Unlucky.
Find a way to send Ulle on to the afterlife.
Attack Ulle. He will yield after you’ve dealt him three or four strikes. Meditate and return to fight him again. The only way to send him to the afterlife is to actually let him win. So let him strike you until your health is almost depleted, at which point Ulle will hear laughter and revelry and will be summoned to join the heroes in the afterlife.
Return to the warriors.
Return to the warriors and inform them that you’ve got rid of the wraith.Return to the Spikeroog arena later to collect your percent of the takings.
- To shorten the time needed for completing this objective, you can use fast travel and go to Novigrad, Velen. From there, get back to Hov.
- If you’ve talked to the warriors before defeating the wraith, return in a few days to get a portion of the arena’s profits.
- If you defeated the wraith before talking to the warriors, you will receive a much smaller reward and no profits.
