Jenn Brown hails from Gainesville, Florida, and grew up in Orlando, Florida. Her parents both had successful careers as coaches for Olympic gymnasts, and her mother was also the founder of numerous gymnastics schools nationwide, dedicated to producing Olympic-level athletes.

Brown developed a strong love for athletics during her upbringing. She excelled in seven different sports during her time at Bishop Moore High School, setting a new record for the most varsity letters earned by any athlete, regardless of gender.

In one remarkable year, she served as the captain and participated in five sports: diving, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. Her impressive skills and dedication earned her a spot among the top 10 athletes in Central Florida in 1999.

After receiving an academic scholarship, she proceeded to enroll at the University of Florida and also spent four years playing for the Florida Gators softball team.

In her senior year, Brown served as the team captain and ranked fifth on the team’s all-time stolen base record. At the University of Florida, Brown was recognized for her academic achievements in various ways.

She was twice named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Academic All-American, four times made the SEC Academic Honor Roll, and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Honors and Verizon Academic All-District. Before joining ESPN, Jenn Brown served as a reporter for Showtime Sports from 2008 to 2009. During this time, she was a special correspondent for two seasons on Inside the NFL, which received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Studio Show in 2008.

She also covered live boxing and MMA events for both Showtime Sports and CBS. Additionally, in 2009, Brown co-hosted the ABC show The Superstars.

In the summer of 2008, Jenn Brown was a correspondent for E! News Now at E! Entertainment. Before this, she had hosted programs on various networks such as CBS, ESPN, CMT, and HDNet.

Along with Jonny Moseley, she also co-hosted a nationally syndicated show called 48 Straight, The Mountain Experience, which focused on mountain living.
