Anyone who knows “Uncle Si” almost always imagines him in his camouflage, holding either a shotgun, a Bible, or both. Si Robertson is a retired American soldier, preacher and television personality. He is also an outdoor enthusiast who probably likes to hunt too much.

He previously worked at Duck Commander, his brother’s company, as a duck caller. Undoubtedly, much of his fame stems from his role in his family’s reality series Duck Dynasty which airs on A&E. Uncle Si has also appeared in other reality shows which are mainly spinoffs from Duck Commander. He appeared as a guest on Tim Allen’s sitcom Last Man Standing.

If Robertson Bio – Age

Si Robertson was born on April 27, 1948 in Vivian, a town in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. For her high school education, Si studied at Caddo High School. During this time, he idolized his older brother Phil, which led him to follow his athletic lead by playing football for his high school team. He also donned the No.10 shirt that Phil had worn when he played for the team.

After graduating from Caddo High, SiRobertson continued his studies at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. However, only three quarters would remain there. During the Vietnam War, Si was drafted into the US Army and had to drop out of school. He attained the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) before retiring in 1993. He even had an exhibit in his honor displayed at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum located in Monroe, in his home state, Louisiana.

While serving in the military, his brother Phil started a business specializing in telephone calls. After Si returned from the military in 1993, his brother brought him on board to help him expand his business. His job was to make the reeds that were part of the duck calls. He was often depicted in Duck Dynasty as being lax in his corporate responsibilities.

Some would say that if Robertson owes Duck Dynasty what Kim Kardashian owes Keeping Up With the Kardashians. He is undoubtedly the star of the series and this is mainly due to his humor and spontaneity.

In the series finale Duck Dynasty If Shown, he mentioned his plans to start a band. He started the band after the show ended in March 2017 and called it Uncle Si and the Sicotics. The army veteran has also appeared on a number of television shows, including Good Morning America. Its portfolio of reality series also includes Duck Commander, The Ducks of Lousiana and its eponymous show Aller Si-Ral. Si also did narration/narration for the children’s animated series VeggieTales.

In 2013, Si published his book Si-cology: Tales and Wisdom from the Duck Dynasty’s Favorite Uncle. The book details his struggles with alcoholism, mental illness, and even suicide, particularly during his time in the military.

Si and his entire family are widely known for their Christian faith; man takes every possible opportunity to express his religious beliefs. Every time he signs an autograph, he always writes his favorite Bible verses, John 3:16 and 17. According to the ex-soldier, it’s a way of reminding people that God loves everyone and no one is never beyond redemption.

For musical training, Si Robertson chose his stepdaughter Marsha Robertson and singer-songwriter Bridgette Tatum.
