How to get the Point of the Stag Ritual Weapon in Destiny 2

Season of the Worthy in Destiny 2 will introduce one new Ritual weapon, the Point of the Stag. While we are used to three new Ritual weapons each season, Season of the Worthy is mixing things up. There will be no new Ritual weapons for Gambit, Vanguard, or Crucible, and instead, the Point of the Stag will be locked away behind the Iron Banner.

To find out exactly how to get this weapon, we will need to wait for the next Iron Banner to arrive in the game. When this happens is not currently known. We are presently working off the assumption that the quest will be something that you can complete throughout the season, each time Iron Banner is active in the Crucible playlist. It is unlikely that you need to get the entire quest finished in a single weekend.

We will update this article as we learn more about how you get the Point of the Stag, and the quest it will be locked behind.

Until then, we can talk about the various perks that the weapon will have. The bow seems to be designed to be fast firing, with multiple perks that reduce the draw time. The weapon also has the Vorpal Weapon perk, introduced last season. This will give it increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and enemy Guardians who are using their Super.

• Precision Frame – This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical.
• Elastic String – Decreases accuracy, faster draw time, slightly increases handling speed.
• Natural Fletching – Slightly decreases accuracy, greatly increases stability.
• One of the following:
  • No Distractions – Aiming this weapon for a short period reduces flinch.
  • Archer’s Tempo – Draw time decreases after every precision hit.
• One of the following:
  • Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active
  • Eye of the Storm – This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.
