Gov. Shapiro to make appearance at Gobbler's Knob for Groundhog Day

Punxsutawney, PA (WJAC) — Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is scheduled to make in appearance Friday in Punxsutawney for the annual Groundhog Day festivities.

According to an announcement from his administration, Gov. Shapiro will visit Gobbler's Knob to join Punxsutawney Phil and members of the Pennsylvania Tourism Office for the 138th Groundhog Day celebration.

The annual ceremony is scheduled to begin sometime between 5:30 and 6 a.m.

Punxsutawney Phil will then make his annual prediction at 7:15 a.m.
