Anya Taylor-Joy has revealed that she secretly married her partner Malcolm McRae on April Fool's Day 2022 in New Orleans.
The star had us all , as fans were led to believe she wed in a lavish Italian ceremony in October 2023 after she stepped onto a balcony wearing her wedding gown and a veil. The actress is recognised for her off-beat, distinctive style that goes against typical fashion agendas, from her pink leather mini to her sculpted Del Core dress, therefore it was unsurprising that she opted for an ultra-chic yet completely non-traditional wedding dress for her big day.
star wore an ethereal beige Dior gown with whimsical, metallic embroidery, a fitted bodice with an a-line skirt and woodland motifs including a statement hummingbird on her chest.

Anya - who has been a Dior ambassador since 2021 - paired her stunning custom gown with a whimsical, floor-length veil that shrouded her sleek bun hairdo.
She captioned her revelatory post: "Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever. Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest [heart emoji]."
