2 Men In Paterson Nazerah Bugg Case Receive Decades In Prison Sentencing
Jeavonte Dennis, 19, and Nyje Johnson, 22, were among the nine men and one woman with reputed gang ties who were brought into Superior Court last year because the mother of the victim — International High School basketball standout Nazerah Bugg — works at the Passaic County courthouse in Paterson. Dennis was found guilty of first-degree murder and received a sentence of 45 years in state prison, with a chance of parole after 85 percent of time is served, the article says.
